Which tiles is the 150mm variant suitable for?
Universally for most common roof tiles – the safe choice if the tile shape is not reliably known.

Do the MC4 connectors need to be removed?
No. The cable is inserted and clicked into place via the side guide slots – the pre-assembled connectors remain attached.

What is the purpose of the feed-through?
As mechanical abrasion protection: The solar cable runs cleanly through the tile, instead of chafing against the sharp tile edge (wear protection, not a sealing element).

For which roofs is the 150mm length ideal?

The 150mm variant is the universal length with maximum overlap – suitable for deep tile profiles and almost all common roof tiles. If the profile is unknown or particularly deeply interlocked, the 150mm length provides the greatest safety reserve for clean, abrasion-protected (TPU) cable routing. Recommendation: for deep profiles or when in doubt. For flatter tiles, 105 mm or 125 mm are sufficient.
