Frequently Asked Questions

Which tiles is the 125mm variant suitable for?
For the Frankfurter Pfanne – one of the most common roof tiles in Germany.

Do the MC4 connectors need to be removed?
No. The cable is inserted and clicked into place via the side guide slots – the pre-mounted connectors remain attached.

What is the purpose of the gland?
As mechanical abrasion protection: The solar cable runs cleanly through the tile, instead of rubbing through on the sharp tile edge (wear protection, not a sealing element).

Material & Designs?
UV and weather-resistant TPU, Made in Germany. For 2 or 4 cables, optionally with earthing gland (PE).

Volume discounts & Logo?
Tiered prices are directly visible in the shop; delivery from stock, with your logo on request. Free sample on request.

📘 Which size for which tile profile? Our guide 105 vs. 125 vs. 150 mm and the string overview (2/4/6 cables) help with selection for your project.

Further lengths for your project: 105 mm · 150 mm – also available in tiered pricing from 20 pieces.

For which roofs is the 125mm length ideal?

The 125mm variant is the right choice for profiled pans with greater overlap – typical for Frankfurter and Finkenberger Pfanne. The additional length bridges the deeper tile interlock, ensuring the cable is routed securely and protected against abrasion (TPU). Recommendation: Standard for common Frankfurter/Finkenberger profiles. Flatter tiles manage with 105mm, very deep or unknown profiles with 150mm.

🔧 Also suitable for your installation

With the PV/solar cable holder for 40×40 mm profile, the cable sits neatly and permanently on the profile after routing – ideal as an addition to the same order.
