Frequently Asked Questions

Which tiles is the 105mm variant suitable for?
The compact variant – for smaller tile shapes or when space is tighter on the roof.

Do the MC4 connectors need to be removed?
No. The cable is inserted through the side guide slots and clicked into place – the pre-assembled connectors remain attached.

What is the purpose of the gland?
As mechanical abrasion protection: The solar cable runs cleanly through the tile, instead of chafing against the sharp tile edge (wear protection, not a sealing element).

Material & Designs?
UV and weather-resistant TPU, Made in Germany. For 2 or 4 cables, optionally with earthing gland (PE).

Volume discounts & Logo?
Tiered prices are directly visible in the shop; delivery from stock, with your logo if desired. Free sample on request.

📘 Which size for which tile profile? Our Guide 105 vs. 125 vs. 150 mm and the String Overview (2/4/6 cables) help with selection for your project.

Other lengths for your project: 125 mm · 150 mm – also available with tiered pricing from 20 pieces.

For which roofs is the 105mm length ideal?

The 105mm variant is the compact standard length for flatter roof tiles and profiles with low to medium overlap. It guides the solar cable cleanly through the tile level and protects it mechanically – the TPU abrasion protection prevents chafing at the penetration edge – with a low overall height. Recommendation: for flatter pans and standard coverings. For deeper profiles, choose the 125mm or 150mm length.

🔧 Suitable for your installation

With the PV/Solar Cable Holder for 40×40 mm Profile, the cable sits cleanly and permanently on the profile after routing – ideal as an addition in the same order.
